It has been one year since I lost my mom to a horrible disease called Cancer. So much to say yet no words I write seem to convey how I'm feeling so I'll leave you with a picture...

Oh, Misty, I'm so sorry. I have often admired the grace you've had this past year as you've dealt with your mom being gone, but I know there is still pain in your heart. Praying for you...

I feel blessed to have known your Mom. Your Mom gave me something no one else ever could .... a daughter. I look forward to seeing her again in Heaven someday. Please know that your other Mom is always praying for you and your family. I love you,

My heart hurts for you as I read this...and her Heavenly birthday is the same a Shani's birthday here. I don't think that I remembered that. And I love you. And I don't really have other words...but I care.
