Cuties in the kitchen...

testing out my new fake floor and backdrop in my kitchen with some pretty cute models (if I do say so myself!)

At least the snow is good for something...

I'm no fan of all of this snow we've been having recently. I don't like the cold, or the wet, or the slipping and sliding, or the shoveling. But at least it is pretty!

On my wall..

Eventually (when I have some spare change) I am going to get prints of all of these pictures and hang them on the wall in the hallway. I made little collages out of them just to see how I wanted to arrange them. What do you think?

These will go on one wall...


And these will be on the opposite wall..



The big ones are going to be 20x24s and the squares 20x20. I'll have them mounted at the lab so I won't need to frame them. Then you can just velcro them to the wall!

Houston is 4!

Houston turned 4 years old yesterday! Some things about Houston at age four...

- He has a great imagination! He absolutely loves playing in his little imaginary world with his action figures. Sometimes he'll disappear for so long in his room that I start to get worried but usually when i peak in he is happily playing with his "rescue friends".

-loves telling stories and jokes. I guess this goes with his imagination but he sure can weave a tale (and I love hearing it!)

- is much more math oriented than reading/language. So far my kids fit the boy/girl stereotypes

-gets along great with all of his sisters and adapts his play very easily depending on who he is playing with.
